What is CBD oil?
The main substance in CBD oil is CBD. CBD, short for cannabidiol, is one of the many cannabinoids found in the leaves and flower buds of the cannabis sativa plant, commonly known as hemp. A hemp plant is not comparable to cannabis or marijuana. Although both plants look very similar, they are different crops. The biggest difference is the ratio of cannabinoids. For example, the marijuana plant contains a lot of THC but very little CBD. THC is known as the substance that gets you high. It is psychoactive. All Cbnatural products do not contain THC! In contrast, the hemp plant contains hardly any THC but a lot of CBD. The amount of THC is so small that it is negligible for the body and you do not get "high." CBD has no psychoactive effects, so it will not poison you. Studies even show that CBD counteracts the effects of THC.
CBD oil side effects
Generally, CBD oil doesn't cause any side effects, as long as the recommended dosage isn't exceeded. If you're just starting to use CBD, your body isn't used to it. Your body will then enter a detox mode. Temporary side effects such as fatigue, dizziness, or changes in bowel movements may occur. These are temporary and will disappear quickly. CBD can sometimes lower blood pressure.
How do you take CBD oil?
It's best to drop CBD directly under the tongue. The mucous membranes under the tongue allow your body to absorb CBD quickly. Leave the CBD drops under your tongue for about 1 minute before swallowing. To ensure you take the exact number of drops, we recommend taking them in front of a mirror or using a spoon. This way, you can accurately measure how many drops you're taking.
For optimal effect, follow these steps:
- Always shake the CBD bottle well before use.
- Drop the CBD oil.
- Wait 60 seconds
- Swallow the oil.
We do not recommend sprinkling CBD drops on food or drinks. While this is generally harmless, because the mucous membranes in your mouth don't have enough time to absorb the CBD, you lose much of its potency.
CBD oil dosage
The correct dosage is different for each person. Not only does body weight play a role, but also the purpose for which you intend to use CBD and your general physical and psychological condition. Consider, for example: The level of stress you're currently experiencing. Your mindset. A negative mindset requires more energy. Your lifestyle. For example, do you exercise regularly, get enough sleep, and eat healthily? Certain medications that you take regularly or sporadically. Your eating habits. Do you eat a bit healthier or a lot of junk food? How sensitive are you as a person to supplements? CBD oil can be effective one moment, while the next you might feel nothing or not the same. There are so many factors that influence this. The "correct" dosage therefore varies per person and often over time, just like with all other supplements.
When is the best time to take CBD oil?
It's best not to take CBD oil all at once during the day, but to spread it out over several times. Because this supplement is absorbed and excreted more quickly by the body, it can be beneficial to spread it out throughout the day. This way, you'll benefit from it all day long. What happens if I take too much CBD? Overdosing on CBD is highly unlikely. To date, scientists have not demonstrated any side effects, even with extremely high doses (1,500mg) and chronic use.
