Kanna extract

Dutch botanists discovered the species in the late 19th century in South Africa, where the leaves were chewed. They brought it to Europe, where it was eventually refined into a handle. They contain multiple active ingredients and are therefore many times more potent than dried leaves.

Sceletium Tortuosum, as kanna is officially called, contains several active ingredients. All of these compounds contribute to the medicinal and psychedelic effects that users attribute to the herb. It's always wise to gradually develop its use. It's available in various strengths, and most users prefer the 10x version.

Of course, the strength of the effects also depends on the method of use.
Tea is the most commonly used form, with a dose of 200-300 mg in a 10x version being common. But kanna is also used in other ways. It can also be chewed, as the original South African users did. The chop allows for a surprising amount of experimentation; you can control the strength yourself, and it doesn't cause hallucinations.
