Those of you already very familiar with the American cannabis scene already know that Wedding Crasher's name implies it likely features the famous Wedding Cake in its genetics. They're absolutely right, as Wedding Crasher is indeed a cross between Wedding Cake and Purple Punch. Hailing from the renowned Symbiotic Genetics family, Wedding Crasher is a real treat for modern cannabis enthusiasts. The Wedding Cake strain needs no introduction. A famous cross with the legendary Triangle Kush and Cookie genetics creates one of the most amazing strains available! The sweet yet gassy flavors and aromas will make you want to smoke and smell this weed forever. The second parentage consists of Purple Punch, which, as usual, is used to enforce better production, density, and an attractive appearance. However, Wedding Cake appears to be a dominant parent in many phenotypes, making it a true crasher!
Despite its name, Wedding Crasher offers very relaxing effects, yet long-lasting, and indeed quite energetic, and sometimes even sedating when consumed in large quantities. The sweet, gassy aroma translates perfectly to the taste, combining flavors of Kush and fruit, skunk, and sweet vanilla. The appearance of Wedding Crasher's dense buds is also very attractive. Typically dark green with some purple hues and vibrant orange hairs. When grown perfectly, the buds are very dense, so you'll need a good grinder to crush them. Wedding Crasher was popularized in the California recreational cannabis market by the prominent growers in the Jungle Boys collective.
The beautiful combination of Wedding Cake and Purple Punch offers many of the characteristics of an ultimate cannabis strain. It will satisfy both fans of the old-school, skunky, gassy weed with a strong euphoric effect (the Wedding Cake side of the genetics) and the new-school, more fruity, sweet, and exotic varieties (the Purple Punch side of the genetics).
Growing Wedding Crasher is also a treat. As with many Purple Punch crosses, these plants simply do their thing. If you give them plenty of time in the vegetative stage, and a decent amount of low-stress training (they don't mind, being a very resilient strain), they'll branch out prolifically, and most phenotypes won't stretch for long. They'll usually finish their flowering phase around week 9. If you want to ensure she develops, give her a few more days in the final stages of flowering (days 65-70). Many phenotypes will, of course, be ready to harvest by the end of week 8.
Besides the bag's amazing appeal, aroma, and ease of growth, the Wedding Crasher also offers many benefits for medical cannabis patients, typically for chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and other ailments.
